A website that looked fine five years ago often doesn't hold up today — slow load times, a layout that doesn't work properly on mobile, or a design that no longer matches how the business has grown are all common reasons a redesign becomes necessary rather than optional.

How I Approach a Redesign

A redesign starts with understanding what isn't working on the current site — page speed, navigation, mobile responsiveness, outdated content, or a visual identity that's fallen behind the brand. From there I rebuild the site properly rather than patching around existing problems, carrying forward the content and structure that already work while fixing what doesn't.

This covers full visual redesigns, migrating an old site onto WordPress from an outdated platform, mobile responsiveness fixes for sites that were never built mobile-first, and speed optimisation for sites that have become slow over time. Recent redesign work includes rebuilding the Creative Junkyard website with a cleaner layout and improved mobile experience.
